Shipping Policy

At Bykidda, we take pride in ensuring that your fragrance orders are handled with care and delivered securely. Please review the following policy for detailed information on where we ship, how we ship, and your responsibilities as a customer.

Delivery Regions

We currently ship to all countries within the European Union, including: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

In addition, we also ship to Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We work with DHL Freight and DHL Express, depending on your location and the selected shipping method:

  • DHL Freight is used for deliveries within the EU and Norway, and typically takes 2 to 7 business days, depending on the destination country.

  • DHL Express is used for non-EU deliveries, as well as for remote EU destinations such as Cyprus, Malta, and Greece, and generally takes 1 to 3 business days.

Please note that these delivery times are estimates. Customs processing, inspections, or delays at the border are outside of our control, and we cannot guarantee precise delivery dates in such cases.

Order Processing

Orders placed before 13:00 CET, Monday to Friday, are processed and shipped the same day. Orders received after this cutoff are processed the following business day.

Shipping Costs

  • Orders shipped via DHL Freight are eligible for free shipping within the European Union and Norway, with the exception of Cyprus, Malta, and Greece.

  • All orders shipped via DHL Express including those to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and remote EU destinations such as Cyprus, Malta, and Greece are subject to a shipping fee, calculated at checkout based on live DHL Express rates. These costs vary depending on destination and parcel weight.

Tracking Information

All orders are shipped with tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email, allowing you to follow the shipment in real time.

Undelivered or Unclaimed Packages

If a package is returned to us because it was not collected or accepted by the customer, we reserve the right to deduct the full shipping cost (both outbound and return fees) from any refund issued. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and that you track your shipment to avoid missed deliveries.

Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives visibly damaged, we urge you to refuse the delivery and immediately notify the courier. If you choose to accept the package, please photograph and film the package and contents at the time of receipt to provide documentation. This is essential for filing damage claims with our shipping partners.

Please note that once your package leaves our warehouse, all responsibility for delays, loss, or damage lies with the courier. However, we will fully support you in submitting a claim if appropriate evidence is provided.

Dangerous Goods Notice

Because fragrances are classified as dangerous goods, we are required to use specialized couriers for all deliveries. As a result, shipping rates are considerably higher than those for regular goods. We encourage our customers to take this into account, especially when considering returns.

Returns & Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, regardless of the reason for return. We do not provide prepaid return labels and do not cover the cost of returning items to us.

Please note that return shipping costs may be higher than the original delivery cost, as we partially subsidize the outbound shipping to keep it affordable for our customers, something we do not apply to returns.

Taxes & Duties for Non-EU Orders

If you are ordering from outside the European Union, including Norway, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you are solely responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or handling charges levied by your country’s authorities. These costs are not included in our pricing and will not be reimbursed.
